If I put the fed on break for June and the first week of July? I know you guys want something to do while on summer vacation but C'MON look at all the great games coming out in June. I'm gonna be honest with you guys and say doing this stuff is the last thing I want to be worrying about. Plus that'll be more than enough time to get Soul Calibur 4 and Metal Gear Solid 4 out of my system...I think.  We don't have to do this, I'm just asking for feedback first. |

Well I understand where you are coming from, but Isn't there anybody around who you could, for that period of time atleast, entrust with most of the duties? I mean, i bet there's someone willing around who has aswell your setup etc.

Understandable that you need a break, but itwould be great if you could leave the forums open during this time. So there's at least the possibillity to RP a bit or to talk to others. I'm pretty sure there won'z be any drama anymore

Take a Break?I think....I think...I think this is a great idea because every fed I seen that just keeps going none stop eventually dies and thats because the people behind the fed get burned out.So zx take sometime off and relax bud we will definitaly not be upset cause think of the things you have done for us

Nike - If it was as easy as just tossing responsibility into someone else's lap that would have been done a LONG time ago. Besides, I live by the saying, "It doesn't get done right unless you do it yourself."
Amanda - Of course the forums would be open. That would give some of the newer members time to get caught up, staff members time to prepare themselves into their new roles and responsibilities, and everyone the chance to think about what's next. After 'Mania I'm sure a LOT of you are exhausted on big ideas. This would be a GREAT opportunity to pull back and brainstorm a bit.
VIP - Thanks for the kind words. More likely I would STILL be working on fed stuff regardless. I'm thinking about designing new titles in 08 since the current ones are from 07 (only thing good that came out of that game IMO) plus a ton of stuff has to be updated on the forums and main site that I haven't had time for. Besides, the way I see it - most of us will be on vacation somewhere during or around the 4th of July holiday so it works out.

Brainstorming is good too, plus it'll create some suspense for everybody until it opens up again. (as you already mentioned) Well then.. have fun with Soul Calibur and MGS 4 XD |
