Well I mentioned in a different thread that I had to worry about flooding for by now if you haven't heard about the flooding in Cedar Rapids, IA, just go to Yahoo and it will be on the front page under their news section. Just to let you guys know, it's not as bad as National Reporters would make it out to be for it's only downtown and the SE and NW parts of town that are flooded, I live on the NE part of town on a hill which should be fine. And me being here right now proves I've still have power, unlike the National guys want you to believe the entire city is without power. Just my brother and girlfriend are worried about if it could get worse about us being relocated for we've got a dog and cat and most shelters that are opening up don't allow pets.
Anyway while watching more coverage of the flood on local news, the people who actually get the dam story right, they say we should be in the clear after tonight for anymore rain. So I decide to check their websites to see if anything changed since about 7pm, cause we've been having storms every day for almost a week or two almost every day and it's getting tiring especially now with the flooding. So anyway I went to the three local stations websites to look at the forecast and guess what 2 out of 3 say we still could have chances of rain up to 60% for this weekend. ENOUGH WITH THE FUCKING RAIN FOR FUCKS SAKES DAMMIT CAN'T WE GET A BREAK. Dam the sooner we get sunny days the sooner we can recover from this crapfest of a disaster. Trust me I'm not joking when I say crapfest some streets are closed because sewers backing up and bubbling into the streets.
Sorry for this rant, angry with mother nature right now for she is surly being on mean Mother F.....you fill in the blank.
