A Starr Is Born
Lise Starr was born and raised in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. She grew up watching wrestling and was a big fan of Shawn Michaels, The Hardy Boyz and The Rock. During
her teenage years she decided to get into the ring herself. At the very young age of 15 Lise began training at small wrestling schools and promotions. By the time she was 17, Lise left school and went to America to do more training she even went to Japan. After working in various promotions Lise signed a ZXWWF contract at 20 years-old.
The New Girl
During the first year of being in ZXWWF Lise didn't really get much exposure but her amazing aerial and technical skills did make her get a lot of fans. She competed the 2008 ZXWWF Gen-NeXT World Cup teaming up with Dean Maddoxxx to form "Team ZXWWF". Later on Lise became number one contender for the Women's championship but lost to Sunny at Pick Your Poison 2008. After taking a short break the "Heartbreaker" returned at No Where To Run 2009 to compete in ZXWWF's first ever Terrordome for the vacated Gen-NeXT championship, the match was won by Christopher Daniels.
Switching brands, a new attitude and winning gold
In May 2009 Lise was drafted to VWA. Lise was extremely angry at this move which caused her to change her look and attitude. Later at Pick Your Poison 2009 she shocked the world and defeated Alicia Fox to become the new VWA Diva's Champion. Just after the Pay Per View the new champion was traded back to Xplosion.
The Legion
One week later ZXWWF Founder ZX announced that one of the Legion's brand new members was Lise Starr. Over the next two weeks Lise did some insane things to her title, she trashed the belt to get a new one... the ZXWWF Ladies Championship. The Heartbreak quickly rised to the top. Even though she did not become the "Undisputed Female of ZXWWF” at Pick Your Poison things were still going well. The former Diva’s Champion Alicia Fox was still bitter about losing her title so the two women feuded over the belt. In a rematch for the championship (Fox vs. Starr) Lise cheated by putting her feet on the ropes. Soon Talia Summers entered the feud. Unfortunately Lise lost the title to Talia at Devil’s May Cry in a Triple Threat match. Devil’s May Cry was a terrible night for the Legion where all members lost their matches (excluding AJ Styles).
A New Enemy
After Devil's May Cry, Lise and Victoria had various matches against Victoria's enemy Ivory. Things didn't go so well... during a handicap match Victoria slapped Lise across the face helping Ivory get the win. Later Victoria left the Legion and teamed up with her former rival to create tag team "Vicious Fury".
Before Riot Control the Legion's leader ZX gave Lise a task. During the Diva's/Vixen's Riot Lise eliminated ZX's ex-girlfriend Mariah from the Riot, crushing her 'Mania dreams. The next week on Xplosion Mariah was scheduled to face Lise in a singles match. However Lise claimed that Mariah wasn't worthy to face a member of the Legion. Mariah received humiliation by getting kicked out of the arena by ZX. Next week Mariah crushed Lise's dreams by helping her get eliminated in a Pick 8 battle royal for the Number One contendership of the Vixen's Championship. Over the next weeks the rivalry would become more personal and intense. At No Where To Run a five on five tag team match would happen. Team Mariah (Mariah, Natalya, KBZ, No Remorse (Shelly Martinez/Casey Cortez)) fought Team Starr (Lise, Simply Perfection (Michelle McCool/Layla) and the women of the sXe Society (Lita/Endee Leights). The match was pretty controversial. Team Starr won with the help of The Beautiful People and No Remorse (who betrayed Team Mariah). The next week she was scheduled to team up with Michelle McCool against KBZ and Hamada but was found unconscious in her locker room. Everyone pointed at Mariah as the attacker until the next week where the real attacker was revealed as Raisha Saeed...
