Winning the WWE Diva search;early appearences(2006-2007)
El first entered the world of professional wrestling after her trainer suggested she joined the 250,000 WWE Diva Search contest in 2006.During the contest,she won a week's worth of immunity on the 14 July episode of Smackdown after winning Sgt.Slaughter's "Bikini Boot Camp" obstacle course-despite having to jump over several tires in the hop section of the course not having both feet cross the finish line due to her doing a split.She won another competition the "Diva Search talent show" on the 11 August episode when she danced as a police officer.She won the contest beating out JT Tinney and Jen England in the finals on the 16 of August.-----»
♥-----She made her "offical"WWE appearence at the 2006 Summerslam ppv in a backstage segment with several other WWE Divas.During the segment the other divas intially taunted and teased her before revealing that "it was all fun" and part of an "initiation of sorts.Afterward they dragged her in the showers fully clothed where they began to spank her while laughing.-----»

Extreme Expose;managing William Regal(2007-2009)
On 23 January 2007,Layla was moved to ECW brand.On ECW she joined up with Brooke and Kelly Kelly to form Extreme Expose,performing weekly dance segments with the group which Layla choregraphed.Extreme Expose danced weekly on the ECW show for months until the Miz was also placed on the brand at which point all three ladies began to activly pursuing him.When Kelly shifted her attentions towards the much more slovenly looking Balls Mahoney,Layla and Brooke and The Miz openly mocked her.On November 1 Brook was released from WWE and Extreme Expose dissolved as a group,leaving Kelly and Layla to enter an ongoing rivalry with more active in-roles-----»
♥-----As part of the supplemental draft in 2008,Layla was drafted to Raw brand,becoming the first WWE diva ever to be an offical all three brands.On the 7 July episode of Raw Layla made her offical debut in a tag team match with Jillian losing against Mickie James and Kelly Kelly who has been revealed as the newest member of the Raw roster earlier that night.A storyline between her and Jamie Noble soon began where she started to become a fan favorite,with Noble attempting to impress her with his matches,only to be defeated or thoroughly squashed by his opponents.Noble then finally defeated William Regal,which impressed Layla.On the 15 September episode Layla became a villian by siding with Regal after Noble continuously tried to impress her,despite picking up a victory against Paul Burchill.She came out to the entryway,feigning that she would apologize,before calling Noble a loser and chosing to stay with Regal.Layla was in Regal's corner when he captured his second Intercontinental Champioship,defeating Santino Marella on Novembere 10 2008.On April 5 Layla competed in a Divas battle royal at Mania which was won by Santino Marella-----»

On 15 April 2009,Layla was drafted to the Smackdown brand as part of the supplemental draft.She started a scripted rivalry with Eve Torres,and lost both dance contest and an arm wrestling match to Torres,before losing a match to her on the 29 May episode.After Torres defeated Layla again on 18 June of Superstars the two shook hands.Layla picked up her first victory in a singles match since returning to Smackdown by defeating Melina.She then joined and form an alliance with Michelle McCool,later called Team Lay-Cool.Team Lay-Cool began a scripted rivalry with Mickie James,making fun of her weight and vowing to make her leave Smackdown,just after her debut to the brand.At the Survivor Series ppv McCool's team lost tp James team.At TLC;Table,Ladders&Chairs,Layla's interfered in the WWE Women's Championship match between McCool and James,helping McCool to retain the championship.In January 2010 at the Royal Rumble,Layla came out in a fat suit mocking James prior to the championship match between McCool and James;however that mockery backfired,as James won the tittle from McCool.On Febuary 12 edition of Smackdown Layla and McCool defeated James in a handicap match made by Vickie Guerrero,who had been accidentally humilated by James backstage.Guerrero then joined Lay-Cool alliance,accompanying them to the ring and interfering in their matches.At the Elimination Chamber ppv Layla and Michelle defeated Raw's Gail Kim and Maryse in a inter-brand diva tag match.At Wrestlemania she was on the winning team in a 10 diva tag match.-----»
