Biography(only ZXWWF)The Beginning(PPV Match with Jumbo J)Victor Phillips made his debut in a ZXWWF ring on November 30th, 2007 during the third year of the companies existence. Then known as Victor “Ironman” Phillips or simply V.I.P he squared off with John Cena on the Livewire brand in a winning effort to start off in ZXWWF positively. Victor Phillips next outing wouldn’t be as successful though as he fought to a draw with Leonard Williams the next week when both are attacked by “Caucasian Bulldozer” Jumbo J & CT Payne. This attack would lead to Victor Phillip’s first ZXWWF PPV appearance as he would face Jumbo J at Devil’s May Cry 2007 in what would become his specialty match an Iron Man Match(15 minute time limit). Victor Phillips would come out as the victor when he incapacitated Jumbo J to the point where he couldn’t continue in a 3-0 victory. Now while the pay-per-view victory over Jumbo J was huge for Victor Phillips the real story of the night came for him following the match. Brock Lesnar would make his debut and destroy Matt K & Jumbo J but Victor Phillips would escape through the crowd. Despite no physical interaction it was clear that these two new kids on the block would bump heads.

Brock Lesnar was not in attendance that night but Victor Phillips cut a promo to let Lesnar know he was on his radar. During this promo VIP declared that the strategy he would use to defeat Lesnar was mind of matter because he knew although he was not stronger the Brock he was smarter than him, he declared his strategy Brains over Brawn.
The following week Victor Phillips would get a chance to put his brain over brawn theory into action when he faced Brock Lesnar in a 30 minute iron man match. The strategy didn’t seem to be panning out the way VIP had planned as Lesnar took an early lead 4-0. But intelligence soon rained supreme as Victor Phillips outsmarted Lesnar on the outside and got him counted out fives times to defeat Lesnar. Over the next couple of weeks VIP continued down the successful path of his brains over brawn campaign tricking Brock lesnar into matches and outsmarting him all around.
That is until the tide once again changed in Lesnar’s favor around the Riot Control 2008 ppv when Brock teamed with Batista to face a team that would eventually become the Resistance, Victor Phillips and then World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho in a winning effort as Batista pinned VIP. Brock Lesnar’s momentum continued through the Riot Control pay-per-view because although neither him or VIP won, lesnar lasted longer and even hit an F-5 on Phillips.
The Brock Lesnar feud would slowly die down after Riot Control though as Brock Lesnar moved onto feud with the debuting Hugo after arguing about who would fight Phillips. VIP however would move onto to bigger and better things as he would enter the then Xtreme rules division. Also it was the week after Riot Control when Victor Phillips would begin being accompanied by Victoria Crawford.
*Two months later on May 11th Brock Lesnar was released from his ZXWWF contract

The next week in a confrontation between Leo & VIP their rivalry was officially born as Leo would outsmart VIP and leave him laying with assist from Nemesis. VIP wouldn’t take that lying down though and when Leonard Williams and Victor Phillips faced off at No Where to Run 2008 in a Hardcore Ironman Match Victor Phillips came out on top 1-0 to claim his first championship in ZXWWF. During the match there was also interference by future rival to both Leo and VIP, Jon Angels.
The next night on a special Mayhem where both brands were in attendance it was announced that Victor Phillips would make his first Xtreme Rules Title Defense against Leonard Williams and Jon Angel at ZXWWF Mania III. The match was later turned to a fatal four way to include Leonard Williams mentor Stone Cold Steve Austin after VIP bloodied Austin, Williams, and Angels the week before. For the next couple of weeks the intensity of the four way confrontation rose even higher as VIP once again left his opponents laying, Austin & Williams broke the bond between student and teacher, and an enormous brawl broke out. At the Mania event itself Victor Phillips emerged victorious to retain his championship by pinning Leonard Williams but not before leaving Austin & Angels lying in their own blood.

Four days later on Livewire VIP showed that he could hang in the main event when he defeated #1 contender to the Vendetta Championship Carlito and former Vendetta Champion & future rival Shia Storm by making Shia tap to the Final Statement.
On the final Livewire before Condemned(and ever) Victor Phillips participated in his first main event in a losing effort when the four singles champions participating in the shuffled championship series took on the four other competitors that would participate in the shuffled championship series. Although VIP did not get the win on the final Livewire he would get the final statement on the go home show of Condemned, the first Xplosion, when all the champions and challengers gave their final words going into the show and VIP would be the last champion to give his words. VIP speech would not sit well with the other champions & challengers as it would incite a brawl between the competitors to end the first Xplosion.
At the actual Condemned show itself there would be a major shake up in ZXWWF because in all three championship scramble matches a title changed hands. The first championship scramble match of the night saw Shia Storm pin Chyna to win the intercontinental championship which meant that although Victor Phillips didn’t win the Intercontinental Championship he would face Ryan Blaze/Carlito for the Vendetta Championship later in the night. In the main event of Condemned Ryan Blaze beat Carlito to retain the Vendetta Championship but would soon fall victim to Victor Phillips who forced Blaze to submit to win the Vendetta Championship. This victory was a major accomplishment for Victor because not only was he the Vendetta Champion but he was still the Deathmatch Champion making him a duel title holder, it also made him one of the fastest rising stars in Zxwwf history as he had won both his titles in six months of his debut.
*The title match with Victor Phillips would be the last ZXWWF match Ryan Blaze competed in.
