Biography - Life after TNA:
After signing a contract with ZXWWF, AJ Styles was involved in several matches as a singles wrestler. AJ soon re-joined forces with long time best friend Christopher Daniels, and the two soon became a dominating force within the company, much like in TNA. Styles and Daniels won the 2008 Tag Team Tournament, becoming number one contenders to the ZXWWF Tag Team Championships, which are currently held by the Motor City Machine Guns, the team of Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley. AJ and Daniels soon got themselves a manager, Shantelle Taylor, who often helped her team to victory. But at Summertime Suffering, Styles and Daniels challenged the Guns for the titles, and ended up losing as Sabin managed to pin Styles following the Cradle Shock. The next week, Styles and Daniels defeated the team of Leo Williams and Stone Cold Steve Austin, which has bought them back into the tag title hunt. After failing to successfully capture the tag titles, both Styles and Daniels were kept off Xplosion for a couple of weeks. As ZXWWF's development territory was opened, it was announced AJ, Christopher and Shantelle would be moved there. After a few weeks, AJ broke from the group and has since been working on his singles career again.
