Short Description of Wrestler: Tough Enough
Before getting into professional wrestling, Hennigan attended University of California at Davis studying both film and to become a geologist. Deciding that wasn't right for him, he began his professional wrestling career training at the Supreme Pro Wrestling professional wrestling school. In 2002, he was accepted as a cast member for the third season of the WWE/MTV reality show WWE Tough Enough, eventually becoming co-winner with Matt Cappotelli. For winning he was awarded a WWE developmental contract and assigned to WWE's "farm territory" Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) to continue his training. The duo made their first appearance on WWE television on an episode of Heat in January 2004, losing to Garrison Cade and Mark Jindrak in a tag team match.
After coming to ZXWWF as Johnny Nitro, He quickly rose to the top by joining The High Rollers, no one will ever forget that night and those words "Consider Your Chips Cashed!" His time in the High Rollers, made John Morrison one of ZXWWF's most wealthiest men, and he isn't afraid to show it. Shortly after Morrison's break off with The Rollers he started his own team, Ego-Trip, memebers back then included Christian Cage, Beth Pheonix and Shelly Martinez.
But after Beth and Shelly's Releases, the Ego-Trip soon joined forces with The Beautiful People. It was no Secret that Morrison and Angelina Love have had off again, on again flings. But that changed after Ego-Trips Destruction, when Morrison gave a Moonlight Drive to former tag team partner Christian and revealed his new leading lady, former Rumble Rose Champion, Showbiz. But like Morrison's relationship that Fire died out. Morrison's time on Xplosion highlights some of his most memorable Feuds such as Justice v. Morrison for the Gen-NeXt championship, three spectacular matches but every time Morrison's drive wasn't strong enough. It seemed Morrison would never again reach the top til he was Drafted after Mania to VWA.
VWA's S.E.X team is what helped Morrison's career alot, but nothing helped more than Morrison's current and longest running relationship with VWA Diva, Maryse. Morrison in the summer of 09' captured his first World Championship and by Defeating the Undertaker. Before gaining the VWA World's Heavyweight Title, The Shaman of Sexy showed a new side of himself, when he showed that Triple H and The Undertaker were not the only ones who could play Mind Games, which played a Huge role in Morrison's Victory, as well as Help from Maryse. It is known that Morrison would probably still be at the bottom of the barrel if Maryse hadn't come along and Morrison knows that.
But in recent weeks Morrison has pulled his forces together and now plans that 'The Ego-Trip' will rise again this time the team will consist of John Morrison leading Maryse and Genesis to gold.
