Short Description of Wrestler:Don't pretend to think you know Edge. You didn't grow up with the Rated-R Superstar and his single-parent mother in some cramped apartment in Orangeville (a tiny Ontario town that Edge recalls offered residents two choices: "work in a factory in town, or if you're really lucky, land a job in Toronto"). You likely identified with his classmates at Princess Elizabeth Public School, carrying a hockey stick and aspiring to play for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Edge, meanwhile, dreamed of rocking out on a Les Paul guitar and following in the platformed footsteps of KISS. (He didn't, but it hasn't stopped him from amassing an impressive collection of signed, custom-made guitars over the years.)
ZXWWF Background:
Edge made his ZXWWF Debut on September 10th 2009, on the VWA Brand. His goals set high, he aimed for the bleachers when he immediately butted heads with Batista. Edge, seeing Batista as a threat to further his career challenged him to a Loser leaves ZXWWF Ladder match at the Pay Per View Redemption. Edge defeated the Animal with assistance from his brother Christian.
After Edge was ridden of the Batista problem, he had his sight set on the VWA Championship, in which he and Christian teamed up, to level the playing field. With the scene being strictly Tag Teams, surly Edge and Christian were a shoe in for the gold. At the Pay Per View 'Pick Your Poison' Edge and Christian, challenged, then Champion The Undertaker, his Partner Kane, Chris Jericho, and his Partner Jack Ace, and John Morrison. Edge and Christian fell short and didn't come out with the gold.
Soon, Edge and Christian would Challenge for the ZXWWF Tag Team Championships, not before getting advice from then, mentor Kevin Nash. Edge side tracked with Personal Issues, found himself looking for a different kind of Partner. Cheeka, seemed to be the perfect person Edge was looking for, and found himself gaining trust and fondness of Cheeka.
Once Edge got his mind straight, he and Christian set out to win the Tag Team Championships, in which they failed to do after falling to the Motor City Machine Guns.
Problems between Edge and Christian were brewing, with Cheeka in Edge's ear. Edge was set out to take out his partner before having a meeting with Ivory, who offered He and Christian an opportunity at the top. Edge and Christian quickly made amends, and formed a bond with Ivory and the rest of ISM Inc.
With a little while to think about it, Edge decided to step away from ISM Inc, before it got started. He and Chee left, no questions asked. When Edge found out Christian stayed, he meet up with his partner and decided it would be best to pursue singles careers.
