Introduction Roleplay*:
Once every ten years or so. A superstar comes along and changes the face of professional wrestling forever. A little less then five years ago. In a promotion based in Atlanta. Brandon Payne, a man who went by the alias of Genesis. Through all the trials and tribulations he faced. Through all the good and the bad. He made a name for himself. A reputation. A reputation that was both feared by promoters and respected by competitors.
It's not about how you play the game. Its about how damn good you are at the game. Skills don't mean jack unless you have the right attitude and commitment.
That's what Genesis had. For five years. He's one countless championships titles. Has earned the name of "Legend" & "Xtraordinaire" throughout at least three separate wrestling organizations. He has done it all, and will continue to strive to perfection. A destiny that he is certain to earn by the end of his lifetime.
When he had gotten word that a new wrestling promotion was opening up. He had to check it out. For good or for bad. Maybe he could be the difference maker. Could he be the one to single handily carry the new organization to the promise land ? Or will he be the one to see its foundation crumble to the depths of hell ?
So this is the ZXWWF ? Quite a name I must say. First time I've ever been in a wrestling organization with more then three letters to its name.
In this day of age. Wrestlers are made and broken by a legacy. My legacy is filled with many many accolades. I may not be the most 'liked' individual. But then again ? Who says you have to be a nice guy to succeed. Fact is, I did everything all on my own with little to no help whatsoever.
Given this organization's reputation. ZXWWF is supposed to represent the finest in professional wrestling. The Best of the Best from all over the globe. What better person to sign on then a "Wrestling Elite" himself, huh ?
My resume speaks for itself. When you see me step through those ropes. You know what to expect from me. The very BEST that no amount of money can buy. You see, wrestling comes natural to me. Its in my blood. Its something that I live & breathe everyday of my life. I could sit here all day and list the many great things I've done. All the belts, all the so called "legends", "myths", "giants", "prodigies", "kings". I've beaten them all.
And here at ZXWWF. I'm here to do the exact same, stinkin' thing all over again. Come in, conquer, make a few bucks, and walk out a happy man. Who knows ? Maybe I'll help the promoter make some money too. Besides, a promotion needs a superstar to help lead the way. A REAL superstar... who's not only a "King", a
"Legend", & "Xtraodrinaire". But a man that knows what it takes to get the job done.
Simply put, I am Genesis. The Best of the Best, and Nothing Less. The King of Controversy. A Wrestling Elite. The Man Everyone Hates, But Wants To Be !
