Okay, so I just got home after a crap day at college, then I get a phone call. From my best friend's sister. She was saying my best friend was in hospital. She had cancer, and it had spread. Of course, I was obviously upset.

To make things worse, I get another phone call from her sister again about half an hour later, with her in a fit of tears, telling me Leah had passed away.

I've just lost my best friend, and it still hasn't sunk in. I don't know what to do with myself. I fell so bad for not being able to be there for her. It makes me feel even worse that her sister told me her last words were 'I love Kirsten'

To hear that her last words were saying that she loves me makes me feel like shit. Of course, it's sweet, but I just can't deal with the fact that I couldn't tell her one last time that I loved her. She was my best friend and the one person keeping me sane in the world.

Now, without her, I'm nothing. I'm in such a fucking state right now, I've been crying for hours.

Okay, so I don't mind if no-one cares, I just wanted to get that out. RANT OVER.

So adding to your rant, Kirsten's wonderful boyfriend, who for those who don't know, is originally from Australia, is probably going to be sent back to Australia becase the only way I got to England in the first place is because I came with my mom, who had a job over here. Nooow, because I'm not living with my mom, I'm probably being sent back to Australia, and of course, Kirsten can't come with me. So, that means for at least two years, I won't be able to see her much. And being so freakin' young, neither of us can afford to make trips. So yeah, two freakin' years. Argh life is shit. Unless ya marry me babe. Aha.

That's just horrible! I can only imagen how sad that would make me.I feel so bad,I remember when I had cancer.Thank God I got rid of it.Though that sucks that she died...

I hope everything gets better in time and all.I know it wont be anytime soon.Though if it helps any,you know you can always talk to me.Like we do daily lol.Though yeah,i'm here if you need to rant or talk about anything.

As for the Marcus...Eh...That sucks...I hope you can stay don't think she wants her man to go away too,even though Marcus isn't dieing or anything it be sad.Ugh...Wow lousy day.

Wow, that's messed up. I know how you feel. A few years back, I lost one of my friends in a truck/bike accident just down the street from where I live. Its hard to stay strong through something like that, so sometimes its better to just let everything out.

Damn, I wouldn't know what I would do if I lost my best friend...I definitely feel your pain Kirsten.

But her final words was that "I love Kirsten". Take that as a blessing, as already knew what was in your heart to say to her. She knows you love her too. In the bond that's so strong in friendship, you both don't need words to tell each other how much you care about one another. She'll be there, watching over you and cheering you on in everything you do, even more so now.

If it means anything, after all this craziness that goes on around here, you keep me sane too, Kirsten. *hugs*

Thanks everyone, it all means a lot to me.
I mean, today has been pretty much one of the hardest days in my life, having to go to work, and try to be nice to customers when I feel like this. I seriously just still don't know what to do to get through this. But as it's been said, I guess with time things will improve, even if I don't feel like it will now. I just wish I could have been there for her in her last moments, but I know she'll be there for me anyway. Thanks again everyone x
